Obituary of Florence B. Pick

Florence B. Pick, 88, of Bristol Road, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Katherine Luther Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Utica on October 17, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Florence Sitts Bohling. Florence graduated from UFA in 1944 and worked as an operator for the New York Telephone Company. In 1951, she was married to Edward Pick at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Utica. Florence and Edward were happily married for 20 years before his passing in 1970. Florence was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and The Pioneers.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Sharon Pick of Clinton; a stepson Donald Pick of Westmoreland; her grandchildren, Scott Pick, Rebecca and Brian Dewey, Joshua Pick, Steve and Trudy Pick, Karen and David Fedor, Alan Pick and Matt Leroux and Lynn Gillis; twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her special friends Shirley and Isabelle.
She was predeceased by her sisters Elizabeth and Ruth; her brother, Harold Bohling; and granddaughter Jessie Pick.
All are invited to call on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 2-5pm at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc, 35 College St., Clinton. Services will follow at 5pm on Friday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Westmoreland.
