Julius C. King, Jr., 73, known as “Skip”, died April 21, 2021, not from COVID, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He was born November 4, 1947, in Centerville, NY. He was raised by his parents, Julius C. King Sr and his wife Minnie. Skip served his country in the United States Navy. He worked many places, but was a truck driver at heart, traveling routes all through New England and across the country. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Joan Hunt, on September 29, 1977. They shared 40 years of love and friendship until her passing in 2017. Joan was his whole life. Skip enjoyed fishing, camping, RC cars and making model cars. He loved to be called “Pops” and “Bumpa” by his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Steven King and wife Dawn; his children and their spouses, James King, JC III King, Jason and Corrine King, Jenn King and Kevin Claus, Jacki and Richard Davies, Jeremy and Tracey King, John and Georganna King, Jodi Leitch and Josh King; his beloved grandchildren, Amanda King, James King, Brianna King, EJ King, Candy King, Stella King, Rew King, Ivy King, David Sharrow, Crystal Haynes, Brooke King, Jaden Davies, Paige Davies, Hunter Linebeck, Tori Linebeck, Lonnie Linebeck, Brittany King, Austin King, Anna King, John King Jr, Samantha Reeves, Michael Reeves, Gladys Leitch, Joy Leitch, Brenda Leitch, Jaxon King, Levi King and Owyn King; great grandchildren, Desmond, Dante and Dimiyah. He was predeceased by his wife, Joan; sister Elsie Trumble Marris; and granddaughter, Jaylee Marie King. Private services will be held for the family.
