Obituary of Beulah Emberley

Beulah Emberley, 86, passed away at the Presbyterian Home, with her family by her side, on Saturday, November 3, 2012. She was born on June 19, 1926 in Utica, the daughter of Robert and Pearl (Gillaume) Vollmer. She was married to Thomas P. Emberley on September 7, 1946 at St. Bernard's Church in Waterville. Mr. Emberley died on September 11, 1993. The couple resided in Oriskany Falls and she later moved to The Meadows. Beulah worked at Nichol's Department Store in New Hartford before her retirement. She was a member of the Assembly of God church in Marcy. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharen and Roger Sweet of Whitesboro, Linda and Roy Conners of Holly Springs, NC and Debbie Emberley and her partner Pamela Ebersol of Rochester; five grandchildren and their spouses, Elisa and Tony Rounds, Brian and Shannon Conners, Christopher and Amy Conners, Bradley and Jennifer Sweet and Scott and Anita Sweet; eleven great-grandchildren, Emily, Evan, Ethan, Hannah, Hunter, Savanna, Vanessa, Jenna, Bradley, Rocco and Jolie. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Monday, November 5, 2012 at Owens-Pavlot & Rogers Funeral Service, Inc., 35 College St., Clinton, with burial in Crown Hill Memorial Park. All are invited to call Monday from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the funeral home. The family thanks the nurses and staff of the Maple Unit for the care given to Beulah and ask that donations be considered for the Presbyterian Homes Foundation, Inc., PO Box 811, New Hartford, NY 13413.
